The population is slowing growing due to a combination of immigration and natural growth.

As for nationalities, 36% of the inhabitants of Andorra are Andorran, 34% are Spanish, 6% are French and 16% are Portuguese.

Therefore, the Andorran society benefits from a rich cultural diversity, where foreign residents represent 64% of the population.

The official language of Andorra is Catalan; however, Spanish and French are also used on a regular basis due to geographic proximity and cultural, historic and economic exchanges. English is used in commercial and financial activities.
