Andorra is a small, mountainous state located in the Pyrenees, Europe. It lies on the border between France and Spain. The population is 73,000 people, the area is 464 km2.

This charming country has only one drawback - a small territory. Andorra is a city-state, so there are no separate cities as such.

Andorra La Vella - the capital of the state with a population of about 24,000 people. It is also the main shopping tourist center.

The Principality of Andorra is divided into the following administrative districts (parroky):

On the border with Spain: Sant Julia de Loria (Sant Julia de Loria - 7,785 people), Andorra la Vella (Andorra La Vella - 20,724), Escaldes-Engordany (Escaldes-Engordany - 15,528);

On the border with France: Canillo (Canillo - 3,205), Ordino (Ordino - 2,485);

On the border with France and Spain: La Massana (La Massana - 6,660), Encamp (Encamp - 10,772).

Andorra La Vella - the capital of Andorra;

Santa Coloma is located south of the capital, near the border with Spain;

Sant Julia de Loria is located south of Santa Coloma, near the border with Spain;

Escaldes-Engordany - the eastern suburb of Andorra la Vella;

Encamp - a suburb located northeast of the capital, between Engordane and Carnillo, on the road to France;

La Massana is a small town located a few kilometers north of Andorra la Vella. You can go to Arinsal, near which is located the ski resort of Pal ("Pal");

Ordino - the northernmost, largest and most sparsely populated district in Andorra;

Canillo - the most northeastern district, located on the main highway, near the border with France;

Arinsal - a small village lying in the northwestern part of the country.
